Q. Why does the City need to update the Transportation Plan?

A. The last plan was completed in 1990 and the long-term projects were listed to the year 2010. The update will include projects to the year 2030. The updated plan will also research various technologies and concepts that were not available during the last plan.

Q. What will the outcome of the update include?

A. The results from the update will include transportation-related projects for the City of Ann Arbor to the year 2030. The projects will be broken into short-term, mid-term, and long-term time frames and will include costs as well as funding sources that are available.
